Here is a local video thats not done yet... It shows about half the riders in our scene. Unfortunatly I'm not in any of this footage because of my bike being stolen, me breaking my wrist and being away when filim was happening. Basically sheer bad luck. I should be in the full video when we finish it up in the spring. This will give you a bit of an idea of what the young riders in winnipeg are like. Most of these guys have only been riding for a year or 2, 3 at max. I have the most experience out of most of them with about 5 years riding time, but alot of these kids are better then I am. All these riders are around 18, or younger, some as young as 13. The video is to show how well the young riders here are progressing so we kept the old experienced farts out of it.

That was amazing, spots looked sick especially the ledge at the start and the riding was really good

Yeah, and there is still so many spots we wanted to film. The full video will be about 16 mins long, and that ***** is all still un-edited, just thrown together with some tunes as kinda a teaser.

You guys have amazing spots. I love that park. I wish Smithtown had spots that good... we pretty much have nothing.

Yeah, the park is amazing. It's about time winnipeg got something like that. We tried to keep it mostly on the street though, so there isnt much footage from the park, and it dosent even show the bowl section.

Alot of those spots are far from me though, I have to ride about an hour to get to any of that stuff, including the park. But I still do it all the time. Lucky for me there is a few other sk8parks and spots to hit on the way. Winnipeg has about 14 parks right now, and by 2009 the plan is to have 19 accross the city.

Doesn't anyone have a car? My parents would never let me go that far... I'm not even supposed to go to the school a few minutes away from me.

Haha yeah I have a car, but no licence cause im to lazy to go get it, and sometimes i get a ride from my rents, or friends. I ride my bike everywhere.

Sick. My mom hates me riding, so she won't do anything for me in that regard. I don't even know if I will be riding again after breaking my leg... or atleast my mom doesn't want me to, but I still will.

FuzzyRyder

I wish we had a train! We've only got buses here, and you can't take your bike on.

Off topic but, I've decided to go brakeless now. Who else here is brakeless?

Not me, fly brakes all the way! haha

Infact, i love riding brakeless except for the fact that i cant stop and my parents kill me

FuzzyRyder

I wanted a fly brake, and now I want evo II's, but I'm too poor to buy then now so to solve my problem i just took my brakes off. I don't use them for manuals or any tricks anyway.

i would be lost without my brakes

Yeah, I want to take off my brakes too, but my dad wouldn't let me... and now after breaking my leg, I doubt he'll let me take them off.

FuzzyRyder

Just take em off anyway. It's your bike.

Then my parents won't let me ride it... they might not even let me ride it with them after my accident.

Yeah, well I sustained horrible injuries and have been out of comission for a long time and it will take a long time to recover and I may not be able to play baseball this year (which my mom sees as my future)... so my parents dont want biking to mess up my "future"

I've been to Winnipeg, and I like the town, but this album track listing is too appropriate to not be linked here.
