sup..a screw from my crank fell out while i was riding (and now my pedal keeps wanting to come off). Any ideas where to get one? I took my bike up to lowes just to see if they had one and niether the standard or metric sizes fit :( Im riding a trek vert 2 w/ the stock 3 pc crank. I dont really want to buy a new crank..and i checked the local bike shop, they didnt seem to have one. is there any place i can just get one screw?
thanks in advance, brandon

I kinda did the same thing... except a screw didn't come out... chances are, you stripped your cranks, but with a bit of retapping and a bit of work from your bike shop, your pedal should go right back on
I was going to say that he's screwed...
It's a bolt, not a screw, by the way. A pinch bolt, to be exact. Take the one off the other side, and go back to Lowes or Home Depot. Ask an old guy, not some kid with pants around his knees, and his ass-crack showing. The should be able to find the same length, diameter, and thread pitch without too much trouble. That's if it's not all stripped out. Get stainless too.
Fark! My dog just came running out of my room with an Ugg boot in his mouth. Little brat.
