How did you meet?
When in college I became an EMT and worked on an ambulance. After college I wanted to live in a town with a volunteer ambulance I could join. My wife volunteered for the ambulance too. It was about a year after we met that we finally went out. Then I was away for 3 months on training. The rest is history.

We worked at a restaurant together. I was her boss. She tripped in the kitchen once and grabbed my arm to keep her ballance and felt how buff I was and she just had to have me. (true story, i was once buff) Now I'm more fluff.

Takin' tips and getin' stoned?
I knew my partner (and her husband) for years. They were frequent customers at the m/c shop I worked in. I had disappeared for awhile (depression, pshyc hosp & move out of state) I moved back, went to work in another shop and they were customers there. She asked what had happened to me, I told her that we could talk over coffee sometime. Full disclosure took place from both of us that evening, she left her husband, I had my surgery and eleven years later we are still very much in love.

allright Ill give a serious answer.
I was working as a cocktail waitress in his restaurant
I was down here for the summer freshly out of college, I was 21.
I told him I found a much better job.
He grinned, thought he was happy I was leaving.
He said, well now that you are not my employee, would you like to go out for dinner with me.
2 weeks later, he told me that he would never let me go back home.
I was married at the tender age of 22, we are going on 19 years.
Ohhhhhh, How sweet BDG. Now how come we never have seen pics of this lucky fellow??

Met in second year of law school. By some coincidence, we found we had four out of five classes together. Hard to ignore someone when they keep showing up in your life everyday.

Spanish language summer institute. I biked about 7 miles to school each day and always noticed a hot babe on a bright green motobecane. One thing led to another. That was early 80s.

That has never been a problem with me, I seem to part ways easily, or without rancor or something. I have had ex girlfriends introduce me to new girlfriends on more that one occasion. One of my ex's, who still cut my hair after we parted ways, introduced me to one of her friends. We dated for a year or so. When I met my wife, the same hair stylist did her hair for years, until she, the stylist moved away.

Last time I saw my ex, returned some stuff she deserved. Parted with a hug. Said good luck. She suggested we remain in touch and be friends. Said, nice sentiment but what good would that do. Soon after moved 1500 miles away. I hear now her new s.o. is bald and fat. and latest they got a divorce. I would think strange conversation would be generated by recalling who did what with whom and when .glad we didn't have a kid together.

As I have mentioned briefly before.
I met my wife on the live fire range during basic training at Fort Jackson SC. Our fire team has just finished the course and were sitting down to lunch in the woods. Next to us there were three women from C company. You got to visualize all of us in full camo with our faces and hands cammoed up. One of the guys with me, (can't remember his name), walks over and makes himself at home with the women. He introduces me as the company animal and by way of demonstration puts my paper plate full of food into the lap of my future wife were I proceed to bury my face in the food, (and her lap), and devour my food in a most ungentlemanly like manner...She almost butt stroked me with her weapon but all had a good laugh. The following day by pure chance we were put together for driving duty. This lasted for three weeks so I got to know her better. After that she was sent to CA for linguistics training and I was sent to TX to SF medical school. By a twist of fate her security clearance was yanked at CA due to a previous bust with pot while in high school so she ended up in TX at dental school. She looked me up and we spent the next six + months falling in love. We got married during my lunch hour at the county court house. Our honeymoon was a late night rendezvous after lights out.
The rest as they say is history...:)

Didnt you really mean to post this:?
On the floor of Tokyo
Or down in London town to go, go
With the record selection
With the mirror reflection
I'm dancing with myself
When there's no-one else in sight
In the crowded lonely night
Well I wait so long
For my love vibration
And I'm dancing with myself
Oh dancing with myself
Oh dancing with myself
Well there's nothing to lose
And there's nothing to prove
I'll be dancing with myself
If I looked all over the world
And there's every type of girl
But your empty eyes
Seem to pass me by
Leave me dancing with myself
So let's sink another drink
'Cause it'll give me time to think
If I had the chance
I'd ask the world to dance
And I'll be dancing with myself

I met mine when I was photographing packaging for Sunbeam irons. He was supposed to help another photographer in the studio (he was a college intern, I was a guy who was too old to be hitting on college interns) and I informed him the other photographer didn't need any help and he should stick with me all day. I tried to impress him by pretending I'd heard of any of the bands he said were his favorites.
That was 9 years ago and we've hardly been apart since. Whenever we go to Target, we look for the Sunbeam irons with the yellow packaging and remember the day we met. Then I make him iron my clothes.

I was at happy hour when the hot girl I saw at the end of the bar came over to me, introduced herself and said “I think men should read women’s magazines”. Little did she know that just that afternoon I spent half an hour waiting for my doctor with nothing to thumb through but a Glamour. I impressed her with my chick mag knowledge and we lived happily ever after.
