I saw Pink Floyd at the L.A. Sports Area in 1976. Are we talking about the same Pink Floyd?

And you're not getting out of school. What's the matter with you kids these days? I received perfect attendance certificates for many years when I was in school.

I saw them in 1970 at the Santa Monica Civic and then again at the Hollywood Bowl where they first perfomed Dark Side of the Moon, in 1976. Good shows all

Pink Floyde

Did they change their name, or was it some cover band?

My favorite Pink Floyd associated moment was Pearl Jam at Soldier Field 1995. In the middle of some moody jam, Eddie growls out "We don't need no education..." On queue, 50,000 kids recite "We don't need no thought control...." The irony was delicious. :D

Are you saying that The Dark Side of the Moon (and every album after) was a tribute band? :p
