i feel like ****....
thanks to everyone who came out last night, it was a damn good time, and that beer blitz made everyone so **** faced. That foot down was funny. eric did an outstanding skid, something like 300 feet, or i could totally be off.... but it was pretty damn far. iggy ate **** after being on his bike for less than 10 seconds.
it was a great crew of kids, we'll have to do it again...
now i'm ready for providence, meet you all on pearl st in 2 hours.

no problem dude.
congrats to rob for finishing first.
and congrats to EVERYONE for making it.
it was a termendously hard ride.
45 miles. of flat....oh wait. NO! there was a strech, about 5 miles, of hills that had elevations in the hundreds.
and **** pawtucket for causing me to blow out a tube 5 miles from the finish line which caused me to fall back an hour behind. I ended up running most of the way until my boy dave swung by with some tools and tube donated by some of the guys in the race. thanks again by the way.
i still cant belive we were all back in boston by 3:30. it still so early, but i have a feeling i'm going to pass out before 8.

Props to my man, Peter, who rode with me the whole way, waiting for me to fix my flat (damn Frappuccino bottle!) like a true gent, and just didn't see the fountain as quickly as I did. He got half the winnings for kicking ass and not dropping me on the hills while I wheezed up them.

Oh, and my computer says that Peter and I did the ride in 1:59:52. Not bad! Though, of course, you'd need to add a couple minutes for flat fixing to get our actual finishing time.
I'll tryin work on the pics.. but I got a lot on my cam and I've got a lotta work to do tonight.. most likely it'll have to wait until I'm tryin kill time at work in the morning...
P.S. 5 miles of hills MY ASS!!! there was more then that, there where 2 hills within 5 miles of the start!

Yeah. Me and a friend of mine are gonna roll together for it. We're from southern RI, so outside of the downtown area, we don't know provi all that well. I was at circle a talking to those dudes about it the other day, and there seem to be a lot of secrets.. should be exciting!

I don't think I am dying to ride beautiful rt. 1 again, but I would be down for a different route or destination. I want to go longer now! Plus come on, I don't think I could ride 45 miles and then effing race in a town I don't know, a town with a lot of hills on top of that.

When you're ready for a route with a lot of back roads just let me know.
About 53-55 miles to Jamaica plain. I ride up there from Providence once in a while.
I can change the distance a little. I live across the river from providence in east providence.
