Hello all,
In the search for information regarding entry level recumbents, I see a number of relatively low cost offerings. It seems from researching these threads that most or all of these are Taiwan imports. If so, are these all, or similar bikes made by the same manufacturer overseas and being distributed via different company names? In particular, I have seen Sun, Actionbent, Ilovebents. Are any of these better than others in terms of quality, fit, reliability, and support? If you have problems with these bents, what resources do you have? Any experiences/info you could share would be great. I am a pretty big guy at 260 lbs, 6 foot, and want to get into this kind of biking. I am concerned that my size and weight may be problematic for cheaper bents. Realistically, should I forego these entry levels? Thanks in advance.
