I'm gonna try a local cross race coming up soon and will be racing on my Stumpy HT. I've been searching for 1.5 semi knobbies with little success. Anybody have any recommendations on 26" tires for cross racing?

I got the Schwalbe CX pro too and they are pretty good. I am 190 lbs so I have to run them a bit over inflated to not flat but if it is muddy and slow you can lower the pressure. No problem with traction, just remember in tight turns that you can not push as far as with regular mtb tires, the front will wash out.
Ciao and good luck, it is a lot of fun.
