Commuting - Bought a new commuter yesterday

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

It's a Norco Rideau 2002. Not a very expensive bicycle but good for getting around town. It was old stock that hadn't sold last year and was just my size. Saved $100 by buying last year's model. Fits right. Also the 2003 Rideau is now 7005 Aluminum, whereas my 2002 is Chromoloy Steel. Feel good about the bicycle and I didn't break the CC limit...LOL The model can be seen at:

Looks nice - I have 3 Norcos now, they're great bikes. Are you putting racks, fenders, etc. on it?

I had them put fenders and a rear rack on it before I left the shop with it. Up here on the "Wet Coast" fenders are a must. And a rack is essential for my commuting needs.

It's a nice bike..... I'm glad they included a suspension seatpost. Here's a question.
If you got the 2002 version. Why did you get the 2003?
Hummmmmmm?

I bought the 2002 year's model. Saved money and got a steel frame. I didn't buy the 2003 model.
