Does anyone know where I can peruse late 80s/early 90s Fuji catalogs?

Here's the story. Some time around 1990 I bought a Fuji road bike. I loved it. I don't know what model it was. IIRC, suntour components, downtube shifters, 5 or 6 speed cluster, maybe 7. It was white and had kind of creamy/pearly paint. I don't think is was lugged, and I'm not sure if it was steel or aluminum. I think I paid around $500-600 for it new.

Anyway, I miss that bike. I sold it a couple of years after buying it and bought a mountain bike I never really road. I've gotten back into cylcing and ride a nice lugged Miyata now, but that old white Fuji haunts me. I'm not really a collector-type, but I'd love to figure out what that bike was and try to track one down. If you have any ideas what it might have been given the sparse knowledge I have of it, or can point me to some catalogs from the period I'd be grateful. Thanks!

I don't know which model that was, but you might want to keep a close eye on eBay and Craig's List. Bikes from that era are sold all the time. Even if you don't immediately find one in your size, you might at least be able to determine the model name and narrow your search accordingly. Good luck!

This link has a mid 80's catalog. Maybe a model name will jog your memory.

Thanks for the catalog link and the eBay/CL suggestions. I've done some looking and haven't managed to find it yet.

My old bike may have been a Roubaix. Would that sound right for that pricepoint at that time? Also, I remember that it had the Fuji-made tubing double-laurel emblem on the downtube--I suppose that means it was Japanese-made steel, right? Thanks again. ROSEBUD!!!!

That's an interesting link!
Was hoping to something like that for a Fuji Sagres.
Anyone out there got any? :)

When you have energy, you might try removing the front fork and look at the steer tube.
If my hunch is on target, you'll see Ishiwata stamped on the steer tube.
You, then, will realize a terrific steel alloy frame is yours.
Ishiwata went out of business in 1992.
