Well, this week freakin flew by. Maybe it was the fact I spend sunday night and monday morning in Atlantic City playing black jack, then Tuesday night at the Halloween parade in NYC... Man, I love having flexible hours, the fun never ends...

I got to school at 5:30am and I get to work all day to make a 5pm deadline. After that and some other school crap I'm going to take advantage of my semi-sleep deprived state by getting drunk cheaply and easily tonight. It will be wonderful.

I got it second hand from my brother, who is getting a pool, the bastage. Anywho, as I was taking it apart to move, my lard arse fell right through a ladder rung. I have replaced any wood that seemed suspicious to me, but I am not a tree surgeon, nor have I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express, so if you come over play at your own risk. As for me, I will be on the patio drinking beer, hopefully beer that you bring with you.

Working all weekend on the project from hell :( I quit managing a Fortune 500 IT department to go back to a small firm as the lead developer because I wanted to simplify my life. HA! I plan on working till about midnight or 1AM. This Friday night is a working night for me. But tomorrow my band is playing at a wild halloween gig, should be funtastic.

Tomorrow is an attempt at a "WTF" distance shopping trip....Citrus park, on bike. I figure it will be an all-day endeavor. I'm more than ready for it. Actually I'm downright giddy, almost tearing up at the thought of it....it's been so long since I had a saturday bike ride....I miss them so!

I'm going to pick up my Long Haul Trucker frame and fork from the LBS. I had to order the cherry red one, because I truly despised the heinous green one, and I find the blue to be boring as all get out. But red, orange and black are all great colors for bicycles. This will be a fun build-up.

It's my mom's birthday. Gotta start cooking the bannana cake, smoking the ribs, etc. :)

Interesting enough, I doubt either of my brothers will lift a finger today, and I'll do everything. It's ok though, I believe in trying to make that day special for the one who gave me life. Especially since she isn't welcoming getting older :)

Today is D-Day. "Supposedly" going live with the release we've been working on since May-ish. And we're at the eleventh hour and our JackF**ker client tells us at 8pm last night that the UAT sign-off isn't the person we've been working with since, oh, early October. Oh no, it's him personally. And he hasn't seen any of the new stuff. At all. Caused the entire team (who was still here working and testing) to go absolutely banana sandwich. JackF**ker.

Is it Friday already? Damn, that means I have just one day to complete an entire week's worth of work, boy is my boss gonna be pissed!!!

The good thing about this time of the year is that I don't have any yard work to do. Hoping the weather stays dry so I can ride this weekend.

I respectfully disagree with this cliche of "don't go to bed mad."

Sometimes it's better to go to bed angry than to get into an argument. Sleep on the problem and often it won't seem so severe in the morning and cooler heads will prevail.
