Hi, I'm new to the world of STI and I have some Sora brifters on a used bike I picked up. There is a screw in the back of the hoods on each side that moves the brake levers in and out, but it also opens up a gap in the top plastic bit when turned to a short reach position. I suppose (rather obviously) that this screw is the intended reach adjustment screw.

Can anyone just make a quick confirmation that this is what the screw is for and that the gap it creates is OK? Thanks!
