On my fixed gear, I have been using an old chain for a while now. Its a 3/32, matching my componets. I am not sure if it is the chain that needs replacing, or somethng else.
Here is the deal. In the last few weeks, I have been hearing a sound coming from my drivetrain. It sounds almost like a ratchet/click. Much like what comes from your ratchet wrench, except a little more deeper and quieter. Thanks for any help guys/gals.

Suggest elevating the back tire of the bike and rotating the crank by hand observing the movement of the chain through the cogs and crank. It could be that one or more chain links have seized stuck. If that's the case, try lubricating the stuck link and gently manipulating the seized link loose.

No stiff links. The noise seems to be coming from around the rear cog. This hub has cheap threading, which makes the cog not spin true. Could this be the problem? I hope not, that thing is red loctited on there for good.

Ah mystery noise. That click could come from anywhere on your bike.
