So does it make you feel more like part of NC with the "Y'all"? :p Just remember you came from the West Coast, baby!! ;) Never forget the "Whaddups"! :D

i used to say that all the time anyways. now it's common here. sort of. there's a lot of transplants, too. so, there isn't as much of a southern twang that i thought there would be.

'course. my mind can be a bit narrow at times. but it's my first time to the southeast.

we've been yearning to move. have a change of pace. we looked at denver, san diego, tuscon. but when work asked us to move to charlotte, it was a no brainer. getting to move and keep your job is a unique oppurtunity for us. plus our small office here, we know everyone so that made it less scary.

just got a new desk and setup the office. yee haw! (oh. that's texas, huh?)

Hehe! I had friends visit from Canada last winter. Young couple, and they were here for a week. I think it was around the 5th day here that Tanya came out with a "ya'll" which was almost immediately followed by an astonished "WTF?!?!"

Spoken like a true hillbilly.[the "all y'all" part] Most mangled bit of English language that was ever spoken. I would be ashamed of myself if I ever had to say that in front of people.

Welcome to NC, bigsky! Hope the move went ok. that is a lot of mileage to cover to get to God's Country! You got here just in time for the fall leaves. This year has been the best color show I've seen in a while. (yea, yea...I"m sure you had leaves in OR also, but nothing like here!)

I don't know any good routes in Charlotte area for riding, (they are there, but I live about an hour north) but if you want to get out of the city and ride some nice rolling hills in the country, just let me know!

Русский малыш! здравствулте! задне, мой друг!Wow that translation is so ungrammatical. If i translate into English using that it would be something like:

Russian infant! hello! my friend!

I'm not even sure "задне" is a word.

If it had a й in it, it would mean 'the back of' something.
