gearing

would it be alright to do 36/14 gearing..or would it be better if i just stayed w/...39/14

it would be ok, but it will be slightly easier to pedal. I have 33-13 which is off by the same amount of teeth and i like it.

I'm running 33-12 (soon to be 28-10) on my Macneil, and 36-14 on the Hoffman.

I prefer the gearing on the Macneil alot more, but I have been at parks where lower ratios are almost a must.
