-Atlanta, GA-

-Johnny's Pizza-

-Nov. 2 -12:00 P.M. to Nov. 3-12:00 P.M.-

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: Despite temps that ranged from the warm 60's in the adfternoon, to a freeze wave that dropped the ambient temp. to 33 degrees, the race has been a blast with no injuries, and some great riding.

Melvin still holds the best time of a 10 mile lap in 28 minutes for Team Juggernaut. The average is 44 minutes. There are 29 registered, 4 unregistered, and one solo (LBS sponsered rider).

The solo rider, Don of Skate Escape Bikes in Piedmont Park did an amazing run of 12 solo laps on his triple white DeBernardi Fixie "Blow". His average lap time is 33-38 minutes. Impressive.

Team Squid , sponsered by AVX Bikes showed up with a fleet of Blue road race bikes, full kit, hot pink skinsuits, and the leader rode a disc rear wheel (which exploded on the end of a lap, sounding like a low flying prop plane at checkpoint).

That was Rich. He also wore an amazing Limar TT Helmet rigged with blinkies on the inside. He resembled Ultraman, or some other Anime character. That was tight.

Well, there's plenty of laps to go....This has just been an update. Links and pics to come. Next year, all are invited to Atlanta.

Stay Tuned.

I would like to say that slept for 18 hours straight after the race. I would also like to draw everyone's attention to this certificate presented to us for being the team with the biggest cogs:

I witnessed a hit and run around 4:30AM near Little 5. Heard a loud crash, saw a busted smoking truck fly by. 15secs later I saw a cop fly by after him. Somewhat entertaining, good thing I was on the sidewalk punching my card.

The race was a blast, hope to rep tallahassee next year.
