Im in a dilema right now. I have a big decision that I dont want to regret.
On one side I have Kleins 2003 big hit comp. And on the other side I have a 2001 big hit comp that a local guy is selling.
The thing with Kleins bike is that its only been used for one winter which is a huge plus. The bad thing about Kleins bike is I couldnt actually ride, see or feel it before buying it.
The thing with the 2001 bike is that it has a 2001 shiver on the front. Im still contemplating whether I will need that much fork or not.....If I did go with that bike I would be the third owner....which I am kind of sketchy about. But on the plus side, I can actually see and feel the bike before I buy it.
Do you guys think it would be wise to get a 2 yeart old bike that has been owned twice. I asked the guy who was selling it how much he has ridden it and he told me he had used it for about 5 months now and had never gone over 7 feet. Im worried that a 2 year old bike will eventually have its time and break.....The only other thing wrong with the bike is there are some scratches on the frame due to UPS's mishandling of the bike during shipping.
Im going insane and I need a bike soon because im tired of thinking about it. What do you guys suggest I do?
