Is there a way to choose which forums to display on the main page? I only read 4-5 forums and would like to only view those on the main page, if possible. Can this be done? Thanks.

Not at this time. At least, not that I'm aware of. But we're working on updating the forums soon, so keep an eye out.

You can subscribe to the forums you want to see, then access the User Control Panel link, they'll be in a list for you on that page. I think you're limited to 5 or 6 forums, though.

On a somewhat related point. I looked in the politics and religion forum. Now it shows up in the "View New Posts" list (it did not before). I wish I could make P&R go away again. Any suggestions?

So do pretty much all of the mods.

As far as getting a serious answer on this one, I can only hope another member can offer assistance. My screen is so much different than everyone else's, I'm afraid that I'm no help here. :(

Please help. I feel like I have picked up Bike Forums VD by looking in there. All kinds of crazy stuff is showing up in the new threads that is def. not bike related.

I tossed it into the mod queue, someone there will have a fix for you. I don't think you'll need a shot or anything, but you may need to wash your hands.

Thanks for your patience.

The only known cure for BikeForus VD is a good long dose of C&V. At least thats my cure.

Add the forums to your subscriptiong. Then only view bikeforums using your profile. All of your "favorites" will show up. You can do this when you are in the root of the subforum. Goto thread tools and select subscribe.

Its a ghetto fix, but it is usable. Future versions/hacks/fixes of vbulletin will likely come with that feature.

I did this too, but I don't use the View New Posts list, so it never bothered me.

To be helpful, I decided to see what I could do about it for you. I logged out of BF using the Logout link. I then logged back in. P&R now comes up on the main page as never having been visited or posted in, and posts in it no longer appear in the View New Posts list.

When you do this, it will mark all posts and forums as having been read, so I recommend doing it at the end of your visit to BF.

Many thanks. So simple I had not tried it. I spent a half hour looking through user options.
