Touring - Good wedge bag to fit under a B17?

I am having trouble finding a wedge bag that will fit under my B17. For instance, I just bought a Topeak Medium WedgePack and the quick-release railing attachment is not the right size to fit the rails on the B17. I'm looking for something that is medium size (enough for 2 spare tubes and a multi-tool at minimum) and good build quality. I would prefer a bolt-on attachment to the saddle rails (versus velcro straps) if possible.

Must also cost no more than $25.

I just use plain ol velcro straps on my B17's. I've never had any issues with any seat pack. They all work fine.

BenI wanted something small to go with my B17 and could not find anything I liked.

I bought two 5" leather straps with buckles and a piece of canvas. I put the tools in a zip lock bag then roll them up in the canvas - burrito style, then wrap the straps around it and hang it from the saddle. It's not as inconvenient as I thought it would be. When I need the tools I just unbuckle it and roll it out on the ground. Looks classy and costs less than 10$.

Sorry to resurrect a fairly old thread but I'm having the same problem. I run a Brooks Swift and there just doesn't seem to be enough rail behind the seatpost clamp to connect any reasonably sized wedge bag. Any ideas?

MTB sytle frame wedge? (with velcro straps?)

Here is what I use with my B17. The bag hold a spare tube, multi tool, tire levers and a patch kit.

Most my bikes are equipped with Brooks saddles, including all models mentioned so far, some with loops, some without, but that's irrelevant. I've never ever had any problem mounting standard wedge style seat bags of all sizes that use standard straps under these saddles.
Now I can understand some quick-release type bag mounts not quite compatible with Brooks saddle rails.

Jandd tubular bag - the one designed for hauling tubular tires around - seems to work well. but NOT bolt on- why is a bolt on bag desired?

The topeak bags work great but you have to use the ones with the straps.. Lots of sizes to choose from..

If I remember correctly, my Topeak would not fit the B17 rails.

You're right, as stock, the quick release won't work but I removed mine, put on a strap with snap and it works great.

My problem is that, being rather diminutive, my saddle is rather low, not much seat post extension. I have a Surly rack on the bike. There is not enough room between the upper front rack bar and the Brooks seat rails to fit a seat bag. I currently have it wedged through the slot below the racks front rails. It looks dumb and its not effective. I have been considering a rack trunk but they are really too big for my needs. I thought about doing something really nerdly by bolting some type of plastic container on the rack but I am really too cool for that. What's a guy to do? Any suggestions?

Are there any wedge-style saddle bags (the under-seat kind that attaches to the seat post ) commercially available that attach to a Brooks(in my case, the B-17 Narrow) D-eyelets (as opposed to rails)? In other words, a pack that attaches to three points on my bike - seat post and the two Brooks D-eyelets? Thanks.
