After my ride home today, i pulled the front wheel off my Chucker 1.0 to lube the forks without risking getting lube on the disc rotor. As i took the wheel out of the dropouts, they axle slid out of the hub in two pieces. I hadn't had the wheel off for about a week, so i could've been riding around on a broken axle for about a week. As the wheel is Qr it held together until i undid the lever.
I'm just feeling lucky that i wasn't jumping with the broken axle, that would've hurt, bad.
