Does anybody know if you can replace the stems that come on Cannondales? I have this years F800 and it comes with the Cannondale SI stem. I want to replace it with a longer Thomson. Is it doeable?

Cannondale doesn't make a whole lot of options for the Headshok system... kidna pisses me off because I need a shorter one with more rise. It's one of the downfalls of Headshoks :\

Wrong Wrong Wrong! I work at a shop, and Cannondale makes a wide variety of stem. I've got a 100 mm with a 20 degree rise on my wife's bike!

Plus, Kore makes aftermarket stems for Cannondales. I think you can see a pic of one at www.cbo.com or do a google for Cambria Bicycle Outfitters!.

What length and rise are you looking for, and I'll check the shop for our inventory and send you one if you want!

Ooops, bad link try this one: http://www.cambriabike.com/SALE/stem/index.htm

They've got two colors on closeout! Unfortunately, they're bot 120 mm and 12d rise. But at least you know they're available.

Plus, I think QBP has them, so any LBS in your area can get you one!

The shorter the better. My top tube is a bit too long. I was unaware of all these choices... would have made my life much easier had I known!

I'll check, but if you want one made by Cannondale, the choice is simple, it's BLACK or ....BLACK!

What length and rise are you interested in?

My old one is black, and you know what they say about that.

Once you go black, you never go back.
