Hi all,

Most of my riding is through flats and rolling hills, nothing steep. I was wondering if people would be willing to share experiences and opinions about these two wheelsets and hopefully influence my decision one way or the other.

Thanks.

I have the Racelites on my Trek 5200. I love them. I have never tried the Neutrons so cannot comment on them.
I am 6'6" and weigh 260 and so put my wheels through more stress than lighter riders. I find the Racelites even with their low spoke count to be a very light stiff wheel.

I'll 2nd what georges. says on the Racelites. (They came stock on my '03 LeMond Victoire). I'm 5'11" and weigh 185. I have been known to be a little severe on wheels in the past, but in the short time I've been on these, there have been no signs on any truing necessary. I've also talked with friends who have ridden for a while and luv 'em!

Although I just got the bike...I have Race X Lites on my 5900...very smooth. I'm not too big of a guy...6'1/165

I'm not familiar with the Neutron design...but the RaceLite spokes should be easy to change on the fly if one breaks while riding...

I've got Campy Neutrons with over 4K miles on them. Have not yet had to true them even after nailing a huge pothole at about 30mph that knocked out my water bottle and immediately flatted my front tire. I decided on these wheels based on the recommendation of a mechanic who has extensive experience both in the shop and with pro teams in Europe and the US.
