Mountain Biking - Do you think Kona's Out Of Bounds f/s line is good for freeriding?

I know the Stab and Stab Primo are good bikes for freeride I was just curious what you thought about the Out Of Bounds line (Stinky, Stinky Primo... etc.)? I would be buying one of these as a frame not a whole bike, that probably doesn't make a difference but I thought I would toss that info in there.

While you can freeride with the stab, that line of Kona bikes is intended for downhill. The stinky, however, is Kona's official freeride machine. The stinky is one of the best freeride bikes out there for the price. Depending on what model you get the stinky is similar in value to the bighit series.

They are dh like Pharcyde said. The geometry isn't great for pedalling to your drop. Good for shuttle runs but thats it. Unless you are really going big I would prefer the stinky series (which can also go big) for value and the fact you can pedal them :)

If you can get the new issue of FLOW magazine, check out the write up on the '03 Stinky Primo. It should answer a few questions for you.
