When my cousin learned to ride, she learned in a hall, that way she could hold her self up with the walls... She was up and riding it without the help of a wall within a week or so... I on the other hand, keep falling, so i gave up, untill i can get one of my own :)

aiight man, sorry, okay here are some tips...what i did like 2 years ago, is i got two sticks and used them as balance, that really helped, just DONT fall on the sticks....push them away when you fall...also, lean back farther than you think, when you really think your level your actually leaning a little foreward, also, if you have a pool table or a ping pong table use that and just go around and hold on, and when you feel ready just let go, fall, fall, fall, but trust me you will never really hurt your self, because u can most the time just step off... also, outside, when your ready, use your trash cans, just hold on to them and start pedalin, dont be afraid...also, dont try mountin without holdin on to somthin for a while.. it took me of couple months to learn how to mount on the thingy. also, i would wear shin guards....cuz if you get on wrong.. the pedals come back and whip you in the shin, and get some jeans with really big pockets ...so you can ride and listen to music too...get your cd player in your pocket...its cool, just get one with skip pertection, but thats later...okay man, good luck...
