I'm sitting in my classroom right now waiting for parents. It's parent-teacher conference day! That means I got to come in at 11:00 a.m. instead of at 7:00 a.m.. True, I'll be here until 6:00 p.m., but I had time this morning to drop the kids off at school and have a quick ride. The day began chilly, but beautiful. By the time I finished my ride, I was overdressed. Even though I have to sit in a basement classroom all day, I feel great! I'll probably have kinder things to say about my students. Shine all you want, sun, I'll catch up with you tomorrow.
