It was one of the first, really nice sunny days here in montreal, and we were able to get out for a ride mid-day. It was also my first real ride of the season. Lots of people were out, surprisingly, at that time of day. I guess a lot of people called in sick.

i'm still waiting for 4:00 for friday happy hour at work. fridge is full of micro brews just waiting for us. after that, i will surely stretch the commute home as long as possible. it's a nice day here, too.

It's Saturday morning. I just got back from a very beautiful 70km in Currumbin Valley.

Got up and headed off to join the crew at the LBS but no one was out due to the wet and wild conditions. I rode home - punctured for the first time in 6 months on the way home - showered - then took my daughter with me to the coffee shop.

A few of the regular crew were there including 2 guys who actually cycled. They took a different route so I missed them.

We may have missed our normal ride today but at least 5 of us didn't miss the coffee and muffins.
