So I go mountain biking today cause it finally stopped raining, and when I get up there and get my bike off the roof it starts pouring again ... so im like I drove all the way up here i might as well ride anyway, so I do and then my hands got cold as hell after a while so I head back to the car and put the bike up ... and right as I get to the bottom of the road up there the sun comes out :p anyways, you win some you lose some I suppose

Heres some pictures of the aftermath, I didnt take the camera on the ride cause I didnt want it to get soaked.

The bike didnt get too messy

I spent a day riding off road through rain and hail with a bunch of about 20 teenagers. It was the final day of a 6 day event that I was running.

The parents handed over their children on the Monday nice and clean.

We returned them on the Saturday afternoon coated in mud.

Up until the final day we had cycled on paved roads in glorious sunshine. The last day was our off road day and everyone and everything got plastered in mud.

Sorry mr sunshine but I don't have sympathy. Enjoy and thrive in the mud while you have it. Sunshine is overrated. ;)

BS sunshine is overrated. Are you on crack?? I dunno, maybe its cuz I live in Seattle and get rained on 24/7/365. I could see on the other hand how a person from arizona could say sunshine is overrated. And Melt, nice dirty car, you should see the back of mine (no bike rack), but thats what used cars are made for.

I live in BC Pharcyde...I get as much rain as you (if not more). I enjoy riding in the moss and soaked wood, its more difficult and makes the terrain that much worse and wohoo I get wet.... Last year was EXTREMELY dry and left me wanting the wet underbrush again. Maybe I will change my mind...maybe

And no I don't do crack.

Well im with ya there. The rain makes everything so slippery and challenging which is nice. And I do love getting muddy and pounding down muddy trails. But I love the sunshine, the blue sky, the dry warm air, and how the sun rays filter down through the trees. I guess its just a balance of things. Ive had enough wet weather and riding for a while, and Im ready for the sun and warm air.

I like riding in the mud and all, but when its so cold I hate it ... I was getting hailed on at times. And I got a roof rack on my car which I cant live without, seeing as my trunk space is limited due to my bangin system. :)

And my cars been dirtier, heres a pic from a couple of weeks ago when I went snowboarding ... took me three hours to get all that sand off! How the taillights actually emitted light is still a mystery

Oh yea and if anyone is wondering, I dont leave the roof rack on all the time cause I commute 80 miles round trip to school and it cuts down on my gas mileage
