Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - Kill the underline or change the color of a link

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Pet peeve of mine from a designer's standpoint: having text that is underlined that looks the same as a link is confusing and annoying. I usually embed my links (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperlink) in the text to make it cleaner to read though others will underline parts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Berners-Lee) without links for emphasis.

Not allowing posters to underline OR making links a slightly different color would solve that. Just a thought, thanks!
