We've already had this discussion... we need to get it from the organizers. However, I like the drugs allowed rules. These horse tranq's I got are gonna come in handy once my bicycle mounted blow gun arrives.

fung wah lets you take your bike on? how much of it do you have to disassemble?

you don't even need to disassemble your bike. i was taking my bike back 'n forth to boston every other weekend for the past six months. just lay it under and don't slide your greasy chain all over somebody's suitcase. ...or do. whatever.

NO. Max is mine! Seriously, I've got a seat for you, Senor Knee. My plan is drive to Trenton (pronounced Tre-in) and take NJT up from there. Or, if there's parking where I'm staying I'll go all the way in, but I don't particularly like the driving in the NYC. Riding is much much cooler, eh?

So I'm coming up for this. Last year's was my first alleycat and I got 96. Maybe I can do better but it'll be hard. I didnt get to ride this much this past year do to family problems but oh well. If I'm doing **** maybe I'll just catch on with a for fun group.

Also I'm only 20, think it'll be hard for me to get into the preparty bar?

any bike shop should have free bike maps of the city. where do you find out where the bike shops are? on the bike map, of course...;)

I got an inside tip about Sid's and Metro, so I'll check those out. the weather channel told me it may be in the 40s for the race. That's damn near tropical!

for those of you who aren't staying/living in manhattan or right across the bridge in brooklyn, how are you getting to the starting point? i might be a b*tch, but i'd rather not ride the 10miles from my place in central queens to sara roosevelt park and expend energy doing so.
