I have an issue with my rear derailler that a piece of housing on the chain stay keeps getting corroded and then shifting deteriorates. I think it is due to water getting in the frame and seeping into the housing, even if I remove the water immediately after riding (can't get the water out of the housing w/o taking the cabling off every time).
Is there a cable kit/brand that has a liner the entire length of the cable (the liner should fit inside the housing where housing is used, but should be on the outside where (currently) there is just bare cable)? I am hoping that such a system will keep the cable away from the corroded portion of the housing. Thanks.
