Ok, I have a pair of used Shimano Aero brake levers, and as I have never taken them apart before or put them on, im a little lost on the cable routing aspect. I know how to get to the allen wrench thing to put them on the bar, but what exactly do I do with the cable? I have done a search here, and couldnt find the right link at park or sheldon brown. anyone have a link with diagrams or detailed instruction? thanks for your time.

I mean the routing of the cable into the lever itself. I see two holes at the back of the lever, but no clue from there. The routing along the bars would be nice as well, but I do think sheldon has that on his sight.

Squeeze the lever and you will see an allen bolt to tighten the clamp. I believe it is 4mm. The cable runs right through the upper part of the pivot and out the back. Shine a light in there and it should be easy to figure out.

Thanks, I found the spot where the cable goes. In the little hole in the bottom back of the lever, and there is a little swinging bracket, with a hole that ligns up with the one in the bottom when you angle the lever properly. Now to read up on cable routing.
