I bought 4 A9 headsets from France, two french threadede and two british. How to install the somewhat flimsy alloy(?) crownrace ? Where can I buy the correct tool, and has anyone made their own ?

i am about to install one right now..
my campagnolo crown race setter fits fine
i'm sure you could also use a copper pipe with a diameter sslightly larger than your steerer tube
www.biketoolsetc.com offers lots of tools to the consumer

I installed one once using a length of PVC pipe as a slide hammer... worked fine. I've now got a nice, heavy cyclus tool, which is frankly superior, mostly because it looks cooler than a length of PVC pipe.
