...and I would sure appreciate a little input from the female riders here..
A couple of questions first- does women specific clothing make a difference?
how much does the chamois shape and thickness make a difference?
And finally, what are your personal preference when it comes to bibs?(she hates shorts, so bibs only for her.) its a christmas present, so any help would be extremely helpful and really appreciated.
Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays,Merry Christmas,Happy Chanukah,Kwanzaa...whatever.

I'm not a female (stating the obvious?) and I don't have a wife or girlfriend to help you out, but terrymorse had this (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?p=2078182#post2078182) to say about his female riding friends' preferences. The links are dead now, probably because we're in a new model season now. Many other posts in that thread may be helpful, too.

my wife has never been able to find a pair of bibs that are anything close to comfortable. she goes with the shorts option. if you do find some she likes let me know.
