Along the SART there are the painted markers every half mile from the beach as the starting point. Does anyone know when these were painted and how accurate these markers are?

Just the other day, we were riding with a couple of guys that mentioned the markers have just been repainted. They mentioned that they were in different spots than they were before.
I did do the rollout test while setting my speedometers. I compare them to the markers on the flat straight stretches. I usually have to tailor my settings a wee little bit. But once it is set, I find that the markers are fairly consistent to one another.

Yep, they're pretty consistent for my cyclometer. Quite afew have been repainted and afew of them even have a little white post in the ground next to them with the mile number (like around mile 16 or something).

They had the little posts 5 years ago, then they put them away.
