I am plannig to relocate to Ft. Lauderdale this spring and I am looking for a job turning wrenches. I have been a mechanic for 10 years. I have no idea what shops to send my resume to. Any suggestions.

No idea on SE FL, but I can tell you that around here the shops don't pay very well. You'd be lucky to make $10/hr. Yeah, it's that bad.

I race in sarasota this year I think it's the 1rst week in April. I can't live on 10 an hour. I make close to 20 in Pa. I thought it would be a similar pay rate in Fl.
