Day 36 Cliffden to Te Anau, 84 km
Today on my way to fjordland, 84 km with one steep hill.
The rain came last night as i saw the pressure droping, so i cycled in my rainsuit, it was nice to cycle in some cooler temperatures.
On halfway of the route i noticed a loose cow, so back to the nearest farm and reported it.
The road to Te Anau was nice, with a lot of forest and mountains, and the wind was blowing from the right direction.
When i entered Te Anau, a guy chased me by car.
I was suprised to see , that it was a couple i met on Stewart Island, they told me, that the girl brought back the my windvest, but i was gone.
So they brought the vest over to the DoC centre, very nice now i could sent it by mail to Te Anau.
I put up my tent on very nice campground with a view over the lake and went to town for my late lunch...
Cheers
