Hi,

No one has purposely deleted any of your threads. A recent server crash wiped out a lot of threads. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about it other than simply restart those threads if they're still important to you. You are definitely welcome to do so. I hate to tell you this, but there's no way to recover the lost threads at this point. Sorry.

You can get a more detailed explanation here (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=248440).

It's not like this hasn't happened before, or that the OP actually coughed up some cash, as so many of us have, to help keep the hardware and software comparable with the traffic BF gets. Stuff happens, no black helocopters or conspiracies here.

Some people just go through life wanting to be the victim of a conspiracy. Makes them feel warm and fuzzy.

I would expect a "journalists for 30 years" to have better writing skills, regardless of his feelings on censorship.

Which reminds me. You need to wash your hands after using the toilet, and clean up those chips that you pushed under the sofa.

And yet, strangely enough, the BF server hasn't crashed or eaten threads since I covered my computer with tin foil and smeared toothpaste on it. I suggest that the OP do the same. He can get the full instructions at my web site, AlienCyclist (paypal accepted).

Oh... BTW... I LOVE my LBS!
