Dear All, need your help and comments here.....
I'm interested into cyclocross and manage to bring home Salsa Las Cruces. I guess it's nice paintjob made me choose this one over others :) And I'm 5' 7" and choose 52cm frame size.
I've just installed longer crankarms (175mm from previously 170mm) on it and surprised that my shoes hit frontwheel when turning left/rightl. Pls see photos. I try to install 172,5mm just on right side, see if this still happened. Yup, my shoes still hit frontwheel.
Here's my questions:
- Anybody has the same experience? On Salsa or other brands?
- Should I limited myself with shorter crankarms on cyclocross bike. I guess should be no limitation to choose crankarms length. No?
- I'm coming from mtb world, then I compare my mtb with more than 110cm wheelbase, while this CX much shorter with 100cm.
Thanks a bunch
