So know this girl. History: Met through university. Very similiar. Same degree, same ethnic background, same style, both environmentally focused, same lifestyle and direction *perhaps

Went out to lunch a couple of months ago. Found out she had a bf so I made to go, she said she would come for a walk with me, I walked home (opposite direction to her but she came anyway) and we sat down at a park on the way, and she said: I do not want you to fall for me, as all my guy friends do. Plus all my bfs fall madly in love with me. I do not mean to break their hearts. My brothers say I just cast a spell on men.

I laughed and teased her by singing the maneater song (nelly furtado). Left and did not contact her even though I did have a great time and would have liked to get to know her better.

Anyway, since: she invited me to her party. I went and had a great time meeting her friends but did not spend any time with her semi-intentionally.

Then was going to a music/dance festival at the weekend so messaged my friends (she was on the list). She was the only one going with a group of her friends and she said to meet them. I replied saying I was going solo, maybe we would meet.

Then went and had the BEST TIME SOLO! Just danced! Briiliant! She came and found me and brought me over to her group of friends. I kept dancing and having a good time. A partner song came on so I went straight to her friend and danced having a great time and made the girl really jealous. She was basically begging to dance with me so I complied and we had a great time.


A couple of day later, I invited her over to dinner for last night. I asked what she ate apart from men? She replied that she did not say she ate men, that was me and that she simply said she DESTROYS MEN :)

We had a great time again but she had to leave after only 1 hour for a class which she had told me about before dinner. As she was leaving she said 'you know that you are not on the menu, you are probably too spicy'. I did not know what to say (it sort of came from nowhere to me) and replied 'you could not afford this restaurant anyway' then said goodbye.

thoughts? Suggestions? Can I do something better? Should I pick different women? All the girls I seem to like seem to play games and be arrogant/egotistical/spoilt/attention persons!

sorry if I was not clear, she had a bf when I first met her. She does not now. She supposedly wants to take a break from having a bf and has flipped between them for a while apparently.

Secondly, what makes you think she likes me (lust or love)? Seriously, I feel weird about this because it seems like I have to make all the effort to see her then she is very interested and flirtatiously coy then she has to go.

How do you think I go from here? I do like her a little admittedly but do not want to make the effort and then get the 'friends speech 101'.

She is used to being the queen bee. Men flock to her and around her. When you played it mildly it bothered her. Gave her the message she is losing her "knack". It's an ego game. A power trip. She is proud of the hurt she inflicts. If you don't go to her it will ruin her self esteem as being the one all the guys fall in love with.

I say if you are concerned with your feelings, stay far far away. It's almost a guarantee you'll be hurt. BUT:

In my life, before I got married...I referred to women like that as high maintenance heartbreakers. They understand the game (conquest) and make the game interesting and expensive (both emotionally and financially)

They are crazy just by nature if she is just like you described and in the words you say she said. Siu has it all summed up. I knew a girl like this in college....she had it all, looks, money, she was already lined up to be an exec in an oil company (guess who the CEO was....daddy)....but she treated men like crap.

I did choose to play along nad act totally uninterested sexually. It was actually pretty fun to see her squirm when I ask her if she thinks some other woman was hot. Of course I did throw her a bone now and then.

She eventually realized what I was doing, and at first she was pissed, then after a decent argumant she realized that I treated her no differently than she would have treated me. For the most part after that, she stopped being so manipulative of men.

It's amazing what having the tables turned sometimes can do for a person.

That said, only get involved in her if you have no emoitional attatchment, and have enough mental fortitude to not form any. If you think you may get attached, then stay away....she will hurt you if you let her get in.

Send her a dozen roses and ask her out, and she'll probably start blocking your calls and emails. If you're actually looking for a relationship, you can do better than some girl that plays mind games and has serious self-esteem issues, right?

I agree with this post. If you have the inclination of having some fun....and NOT falling for this women...then keep doing what yoru doing and then when you have an opportunity to turn up the "Lust Wick" do it and enjoy the ride. Just know that it will stop very suddenly and you may have to tuck and roll when it does. Good luck with whatever you choose.

You're the "transition guy". Play hard and have fun, but keep in mind that once she's recovered, you're disposable. Don't have any more expectations than that and you should be fine.
