That's a very pretty bike, fubar--but look closely and you'll see you couldn't get far on it. No pedals.

Fubar,

Cool bike!
I found the following on the Scott bicycle website. Send them an email and find out if perhaps you can get your "dream bike" here in the USA.

SCOTT USA Inc.
Sun Valley, ID 83353

Phone: (208) 622-1000
Fax: (208) 622-1005
E-mail: scott@scottusa.com

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Toes too!

Thanks Ron,
I've been to the Scott site several times and emailed them 3-4 times, I only got a reply saying I couldn't get a Scott bike here in the US. So here is my new dream baby:

I'm sorry, but I really think a good bike dream HAS to have some Italian in it.

Fubar,

I noticed that both bikes have a similar white and blue paint pattern. Do you have a thing for white and blue? ;)

Very nice bike! Great components.
You'll have to save lots of pennies for it.

I didn't notice they had similar paint jobs. But white and blue just catches my eye,and its very spiffy. I will have to save tons of pennies!!!!

Cippo rides Cannondale....is that enough Italian?

I don't have a dream bike as of yet... but the more miles I ride and the bikes I research... I am leaning towards a carbon frame as in the Trek 5600 or a fairly good quality Italian "steel" bike.

but every year before since about '89, Cipo has been on a Cannondale and the Italian Saeco team still rides Cannondales.

And no, that isn't Italian enough! I agree, any dream bike must not only have Italian on it- it should be Record!:)
