I am getting crazier and crazier about bikes guys. For real, I am not just trying to create some conversation. I am really going crazy about bikes. Maybe it is the TDF that is causing all this. I spend hours online looking at bikes, I am irritated that I can't subscribe to every bike mag under the sun, I want to go buy a bunch of bike stuff, I want to ride more.....The list goes on. I think cyclists have more self-control than any other human beings on the face of the earth.

Either that, or they're just crazier....

Craziness requires more self-control. I know, I have more self-control than anyone.

Fubar, my young friend, you will find that the degrees of craziness are defined by those around us. When you are here, among like minded individuals, you do not seem abnormal in the least. However, among your peers or in your neighborhood, you may be looked upon as an oddity, indeed.

But, do not fear, you are not crazy. The cycling folks are about as well centered people as you will ever find. So look at the new bikes, long for the fancy accesories, and in the mean time, keep those pedals spinning!!

Nebill is right . . . We all understand you here. I suspect most of us who spend any time on this forum are at least a little touched by this cycling obsession . . . But, look at it this way, as obsessions go, it's a pretty healthy one.;)

WOW!!!! That's a strong statement. We should have a self-control contest somehow.

I got a 3 week extension on my job, so I'm gonna have a few "extra" bucks to spend on my bike.

Sounds like a craziness-vs.-self-control contest coming up right there....

hey, Fubar, insanity has its advantages for sure! I can't think of it right now, since I'm arguing with my imaginary friend to figure out who's more insane. ;)

P.S. I think I'm winning...hehehe :D

Fubar 5 is now emerging from a dark period in his life. There are many people out there who, through no fault of their own, are sane. The only way we can fight this debilitating disease is for people like us, who are out of our tiny little minds, through forums such as this one, to try and help these people overcome their sanity.

Sanity is evil.

Chris

Amen, Seņor Spanky! Fubar, take note: don't let sanity corrupt you. Just accept enough of it to get along, and remain wild at heart and mind all your life. Cycling will probably help.

I'll try to stay away from that devilish sanity bug.
