Hi guys I have a 2002 Specialized rockhopper that I have been abusing since the day I got it. It has never had anything adjusted or maintained and now it got to the point of not really being rideable. I want to bring it in to the LBS for repairs as some of this stuff is to much for me since it got so bad. I was wondering what a general cost for this stuff would be.

1. The Bottom Bracket Creaks. Not sure if it needs lube or needs to be replaced.
2. Shifting is horrible. Skips all sorts of gears. Goes over the big cog into the spokes and off of the small cog. The front goes from the small to medium and back and forth, the rear derailler isnt smooth ect..
3. The brakes are pretty messed up. When you pull the lever one side moves and the other side like clicks and gets lodged under the rim. I moved the pad up but it still rubs and is messed up.

The stuff is pretty much adjustment of the brakes and shifting and maybe a lube of the BB or replacement. What should this cost roughly? $20, $50, $70, $100, $120+

Take it into a shop and have them do a "tune up" for I think $75-100. Most of the things you list just need to be adjusted. The tune up will fix that and lube everything up, plus they clean your bike well. If there's more wrong with it, the mechanic will call you.

If your bike has been ridden hard for 4 years I think you will need more than just a tune up. Based on your post you may need the following:

tune up, pads x4, chain, cassette, possibly a ring or 3, possibly a cable or 4. If your chain has damaged any spokes when it overshifts the largest cog you may want to replace them. Derailluer hanger alignment is probably needed. BB?

I think your looking at $200. +/-

It is kind of hard to give you an estimate of what needs fixed without seeing it.

It could just need some lube and cable adjustments. More likely if you have really neglected it for 4 years you will need a lot more. Too add one more to ISeeDeadHuffies' list, if you have been riding around with worn pads on the brakes and they are really out of whack, you could have ruined the rims as well.

If you have to spend $200, you will end up with a better bike than anything you could buy new at Walmart for $400. Do your bike shop a favor by cleaning it before you take it in.

Like others have said, take it on for a tune up. Labor will run $60-100 depending on your shop. When you take it in, they'll throw it into the stand and take a look at it and should be able to give you an estimate on parts you may need.

All of these things can be fixed yourself. You'll probably need to buy some tools if your BB really is worn out. There is no "lubing" of the bb if it's a sealed cartridge which your 2002 rockhopper most likely has.

Deal with the problems one at a time. Consult the park tool repair help section and these forums if you need help. #2 & #3 you can at least do.

#1 is a bit more advanced.

Headset might be in there also. Shocks? They'll run you some to have them looked at too.

Pedals, saddle, bar, stem and frame are probably okay :).

How fixed do you want it to be because a $60.00 tune up isn't going to do it.

You are almost surely going to need a new chain and cassette, new shift and brake cables and housings, remove and reinstall your bottom bracket, and replace the 8 outer drive side spokes on your rear wheel. That's without seeing your bike so there could be more. Truthfully, I wouldn't expect much change from $200.00.

Bike shops get phone calls all the time asking questions like this. I'll tell you the same thing I tell those callers. I can't do a diagnosis or an estimate sight unseen.I won't be pinned down to a guess, and neither should any other shop.
Even an estimate in the stand is just that, not a quote. Sometimes issues don't present themselves until you dig deeper.
Most shops won't charge for a look see, so that would be a good place to start.
