Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. i got my two studded tires on right now and there only 2.10's now would i be better off to go with the stud in the back and my 2.8 bontrager soft composite in the front??? or would i be better off with just both studded on?

I run with a Nokian Extreme 296 on the front wheel at about 35 to 40 psi and I run a Specialized Pro on the back wheel at about 50 psi. The last thing you want is the front wheel sliding out from under you.
These studded tires require breaking in and conditioning by running them on ashphalt for 30 miles.

I would go with 2 studded tires but if you are going to go with one, keep it on the front.

as mentioned, if using only one studded tire please keep it up front
why?
if your back wheel starts to kid you can keep control, remember doing skid contests as a kid??
if you lose traction on the front wheel... well, how much do you like your teeth? :D
