Is anyone going to take advantage of the lower prices? I think this is one heck of a good deal I could be getting. I'm thinking of some extra tubes, gloves, the sette complete bike tool set (100$ now..I wonder how good it is though), and maybe trying some maxxis rancheros.

Just picked up a pair of Juicy 7's - 160mm front and rear, and a X.9 Sram RD, both of which will suit my current freeride bike project.

I may pick up some other items to spruce up the ol XC bike..

$60 bb7's are a steal and a must upgrade for anyone running anything less on the quality list.

I'm waiting on some money to get a 185mm bb7, may or may not use it right away, but it's a good price.

Here is what I picked up:

Order Details:

Item Product Description Color / Size Qty Price Availability

75113 Sette Torx ST-32 Tool Kit - 32 Tools 1 $99.98 In Stock
53078 Wellgo LU-A52 Flat Pedals 1 $19.98 In Stock
77003 IRC Torque Tube Presta 26 x 1.9 - 2.2 1 $1.98 In Stock
73091 Maxxis Mobster Tire 1 $16.98 In Stock

Considering the tool kit alone is $200, I managed to save quite a bit. I know the sette brand isnt super, but I hope their tools are ok. I cant wait to try the mobster also, and it is the 2.1 size.

Isn't it a nice feeling to not need anything? My current buy list (in order of when I will get them):

A few small things from Hope
Chrome Citizen pack
NiteRider light (not sure which one)
Brooks saddle
Chris King hubs/headset
Fox 36 Talas RLC
Fox DHX Air 5.0
SRAM X.9 (shifter+derailleur)
Gravity Lite stem/bar

:(

I'd stay away from Maxxis Rancheros, they roll superbly and for mild fireroads they're OK but the second you start riding a proper trail/singletrack you'll be slipping all over.

You'll have to let us know if the sette tool kit is any good. I have been looking at it but for ~$75 more bucks I can get the park version which I know is good.

Good thing 'cause I just broke down and ordered one. here's my buy list:

46039 Sette Max Flopak Hydration System 100oz 1 $19.98 In Stock
55019 GT Typhoon 3500 Floor Pump 1 $12.98 In Stock
77013 IRC Tubes - Set of 5 1 $9.90 In Stock

61 bucks shipped! I told my wife they will be x-mas presents from my 2 year old to me. She consented reluctantly. btw-does anyone know if the GT pump is worth a crap? For 13 bucks I guess I can't lose.

i just got a sette reken frame... i figured it would be cheaper than a paint job for my haro v1 frame i used for a single speed conversion. the matte black looks yummy and its only 70 bucks. now i kinda wished i picked up a couple other things since i still have to pay the shipping... darn... oh well, i should keep saving for the fixed gear whatnot...

Well I ended up picking up somethings for myself as well as a couple things for some guys at the shop:

89123 Highways DVD 2 $2.98 In Stock
38034 Sette Type-B Lock On Grips 3 $9.98 In Stock
89113 Red Bull Bike Battle DVD 1 $6.98 In Stock

Total: $53.49 w/ tax and S/H

For me, I got a Highways DVD, local riders at local spots, and for $3 heck yes I'll have one. Also, one of the grips, and the Red Bull DVD. For a buddy at the shop: 2 of the grips. Another buddy: Highways DVD.
