Mountain Biking - PricePoints end of year blowout

Is anyone going to take advantage of the lower prices? I think this is one heck of a good deal I could be getting. I'm thinking of some extra tubes, gloves, the sette complete bike tool set (100$ now..I wonder how good it is though), and maybe trying some maxxis rancheros.

Just picked up a pair of Juicy 7's - 160mm front and rear, and a X.9 Sram RD, both of which will suit my current freeride bike project.

I may pick up some other items to spruce up the ol XC bike..

$60 bb7's are a steal and a must upgrade for anyone running anything less on the quality list.

I'm waiting on some money to get a 185mm bb7, may or may not use it right away, but it's a good price.

Considering the tool kit alone is $200, I managed to save quite a bit. I know the sette brand isnt super, but I hope their tools are ok. I cant wait to try the mobster also, and it is the 2.1 size.

yeah, i guess if it sucks i'm only out 20 bucks + shipping, but if it is nice....man i love a bargain. my wife might shoot me when it shows up in the mail unexpected.....hold up, we don't own any guns. arrrrrgh. it sucks being indecisive.

I'd stay away from Maxxis Rancheros, they roll superbly and for mild fireroads they're OK but the second you start riding a proper trail/singletrack you'll be slipping all over.

For what it's worth MBA magazine has touted the sette flowpacks value several times in the past that I know of, They like them.

Yeah Id take the Park set any day over sette too. It should come in maybe Thursday or Friday. I can't wait:D

i just got a sette reken frame... i figured it would be cheaper than a paint job for my haro v1 frame i used for a single speed conversion. the matte black looks yummy and its only 70 bucks. now i kinda wished i picked up a couple other things since i still have to pay the shipping... darn... oh well, i should keep saving for the fixed gear whatnot...

I just received the tool kit today, and so far I must say the tools are pretty solid and nice. I am very pleased with them so far.

I have the 100oz sette hydration pack.

It's great. Works flawlessly.

anyone tried a sette cycle computer... they have one with a HRM for 30 bucks.. I see bad reviews for the older model.. but none for sny of the current ones. Anyone use a sette computer???
