Hi Everybody,
Been a while since I posted on the Mechanic's forum. Hope everybody is well and getting their gear in order for new year.
I am amped as I just took delivery of a new '07 Campy Chorus QS gruppo which includes a Chorus Ultra Torque CF crankset with external BB cups. Love the simplicity of the design btw. I will be installing the BB cups onto a Look 555 frame with aluminum BB. A question about the install. Park already has a link to the Ultra Torque install but thought I would ask for suggestions relative to thread coating prior to installation. The Cups come with encapsulated loctite on a couple of central threads but wonder if the rest of the threads should be coated with anything to keep the interface between BB and cups from oxidizing...or should I simply thread the cups into the BB without further coating.
Any experience would be appreciated.
