I'm sure you guys heard the news about the cyclist who was hit while riding along the westside bike path by a guy who was drunk. Its getting really dangerous out there...let's all be careful

MEMORIAL RIDE FOR ERIC NG

1PM: Meet in Washington Square Park
1:30PM: Ride to the West Side bike path near Clarkson St.
We are planning for a memorial ride this Saturday, December 9th, meeting at 1pm in Washington Square Park and then proceeding to the site of Eric's death. Non-bikers can head straight to the site, on the West Side bike path near Clarkson St. Please bring flowers (especially sunflowers), sidewalk chalk, paint, whatever you want. There will be a memorial service after the ride with music and a slideshow, and a party later that night. Visual Resistance is still waiting on venues for the post-ride event on Saturday, details will be posted as they become available.
Funeral services are being held on Wednesday (Today Dec 6) in New Jersey.
22 year old Eric Ng was killed last Friday night in an obscene act by drunk East Village resident Eugenio Cidron who sped a mile down the Westside bike path in his BMW and smashed into Eric.
