The Radio Flyer rides again... after about 8 years of wanton neglect, it lives.

The Astrale and the Brooks went on last night, rode it twice for errands today, just geeked out to have gotten this done, and thankful for all the help and advice from folks on here and in the mechanics' forum.
It's just a trip to take the old boy out and make it live again, and I'm ready to get started commuting in this rotten season. It's great to have a ride I can use with regular pants, regular shoes, and no worries about getting something stolen. Great to reconnect with the feeling of riding that I loved when I was a kid, and that I loved when I was in college and a reminder that this is a hell of a lot of fun. These photos don't entirely do justice to how rotten this looked a week ago, but I'm happy with the results (I didn't want it to look good enough to get ganked in Manhattan in front of my office :))
