Hi. I'm going to be in Milan for a few months starting in January, and I want to do some bike shopping. I know that most of the major Italian brands are in Milan, but I've heard that there are many small framebuilders in the area that produce limited numbers of bikes and don't export. Does anyone know what those brands are, and where I can find them? I have this impression that there are shops in Milan that produce beautiful hand-made frames that cost less than, say, a De Rosa, and that you can't get them in the U.S., but maybe it's not true.
