Great victory for UCLA. Nontheless, it shows how unpredictable college football can be. UCLA had two weeks to prepare for this game and executed well defensively. So did USC. It was a low scoring game. UCLA's kicker will probably surpass John Lee's records, if he hasn't do so already. Karl Dorrel can now stick around for another year. And maybe Pete Carroll will go to the NFL. Its all business as usual. Don't you think?

Darn it. Although, I am not a football fan in the least, I still wanted UCLA to win (I didn't go there, but I did use to work there). But I'm bummed that I didn't run to this furniture store in Culver City and buy a few thousand dollars worth of furniture. They adertised on FOX 11 (who ran a special on them, is what I mean) that if customers wanted to buy furniture two days prior to the game, any furniture, any amount, that it would be theirs for free IF the Bruins won (i.e. - they get their money back in full). I bet the store owner is not happy this morning.

The Guy I bought my business from 17 years ago is a SC alumni and a huge fan who goes to almost all SC's games. He has called me every year recently to rub in "his" victorys, and I'm sure prior to yesterday had plans on calling me again. Somehow, I don't think he will be too happy to hear my voice today!

Its basically a bunch of large men fighting over a dead pig. Lots of fun and good exercise, by the way.

You forgot the ass grabbing. Ass grabbing is an integral part of this intricate sport.

ps. Go Bruins. SC was looking over the head of the boy that was about to punch them in the mouth.

pps. Chargers are 10-2, tied for first in the AFC with the Colts, and with a 3 game lead over Denver and KC in the AFC West, with 4 to play.

Please don't go too harsh on USC. Remember, they're part of the PAC 10 conference and the money they raise for being in the Rose Bowl, is partially given to the PAC 10 schools. Like I said, its business as usual. Michigan and the Big 10 will support their own conference.
