GT bicycles have been part of Orange County sports since 1977, when Gary Turner and Richard Long founded it. The company grew quickly, spurred by the popularity of BMX and mountain biking.

Gary Turner, is that why the brand name is "GT"???

We should all thank the LORD for Gary's contribution. It is sad that he is no longer with us. However the story behind the company is real cool.

I haerd that GT's customer service sucks, so I decided not to look at GT's, but I guess they aren't bad.
