I'm going to be in Blue Ridge, GA for the next 4 days and I'm looking to get in a nice long ride or two.

Anyone know of any good roads in that area?

I don't know the exact roads, but we rode through Blueridge on the 2002 BRAG century ride. There are some great roads in the area. I think we came into Blueridge from Morganton. I remember a nice mountain descent going to the lake.

Looks like I missed your dates on the post, just found it. I live here and you need to go to one of the Local LBS in either Blue Ridge or Ellijay and they will tell you every trail we have and how to get to them. Next time you come here, try starting on HWY 2 go about 7 miles where the pavement ends. Start riding there. You can either go to Conasaugga Lake about 32 miles away (one direction) or go to the top at Watson Gap and take a hard right and go to the campground in tennessee (17 miles one way). I guarantee it will challenge even the best riders. Very steep climbs but very fun downhills. Bring lots of water, I almost didnt make it on my 34 mile ride (both ways) to the Tennessee campground area. It is a dirt road, but if you want trails only there are many on the way you can choose from.
